International Financial Modeling Institute (IFMI) is an organization established under the vision to facilitate the development of financial modeling and analysis field through education, certification, sharing, research, and practice. IFMI strives to promote best practices in financial modeling and supports ongoing professional and career development for financial modelers.

IFMI flagship certification program is Professional Financial Modeler (PFM) Program which is an international professional certification in the field of financial modeling and analysis. This certification program awards PFM Designation to eligible professionals with the goal of maximizing the professional value of the holders. IFMI is the administrator of the delivery of PFM Examination worldwide.

The PFM Program adheres to standard and process in and accordance with global standard to ensure impartiality and fairness of the whole process.

To further ensure the impartiality, fairness and the soundness of the process, the Program is has obtained and in the process of obtaining accreditation by globally reputable accreditation bodies.

To further ensure fairness and impartiality, IFMI does not conduct training preparation on PFM program. Instead, IFMI recognizes Registered Training Providers who are endorsed to deliver training programs concerning programs administered by IFMI for a specific country or region.
